Q. WHO, OR WHAT, DECIDES WHEN PEPPER IS DONE WITH THE PEPPER-LOVING?
A. 1. Pepper 2. Me 3. Whether I am done with the computer 4. Whether Guitar Hero is on or not 5. Depends on how fast I can find the laser-pointer
If you answered anything but 1, you've never had a cat. And now I have Pepper-hair all over my face, sweater, and laptop.
PLUS COLUMN: I figured out an OTC drug combination that gets (mostly) rid of my debilitating, pernicious headaches.
MINUS COLUMN: It makes me feel like I'm FOOKIN' HIGH. Even worse, I think I need to add Advil to the mix because I need something for the accompanying neck-ache.
In conclusion, today is the ninth anniversary of my commitment to kuwamiko. Honey, thanks for putting up with me for so long. ♥ To the rest of our lives.

Things I accomplished yesterday:
- Sleeping in late - Eating cream pan for breakfast - "Cooking" lunch, and by cooking I mean ordering pizza - Playing two hours of Guitar Hero on medium - Putting on a series of movies while dicking around on the internet, reading Kaulitzcest, and expanding my outline from twenty-eight pages to *checks* thirty-two. - Comment-bombing backinblack again while she was sitting next to me. That's my favorite part.
Gin, b, what all did we watch again yesterday? Galaxy Quest, Dodgeball, Accepted, Live Free or Die Hard, then Alien Resurrection by my count. Huh. We had movies on from approximately two pm to two am, not counting time spent at the store being horrified at men walking around with their shirts open to expose their hairy paunches.
Considering it's already eleven I suppose I should rustle up some food. And when my phone is charged (I KNEW I should have plugged it in last night, but the cat was cute and wanted to be picked up) I'll call my mom and my step-mom. Then go, I dunno, be productive and make the grocery list.
Any bento ideas? I'm looking for fast, easy, low-fat and low-cal. Lately I've been doing salad and a main entree. Last week's ginger noodle soup was not spectacular. 101 Cookbooks let me down for the first time.
In conclusion, something I found during the comment bomb war:

Innocent Link!Bill is horrified by these shenanigans.

I think that Gin and I have a serious Guitar Hero problem.
We start it up with the intent to play a set or two. ...Frigging two hours later, fingers sore and wrists cramping, we decide we've had enough. Then I'm all surprised when I sit down to type and my fingers hurt. I think they're trying to develop callouses. *wince* They huuuuuuurt.
We played two hours last night and another two hours this morning. And hey, this is only our second weekend with the game and we're playing Medium!
Maybe I should switch to hand-writing for a bit, because my right hand isn't all fracked up.
Now we need to figure out what the heck we're having for lunch. What happens when you put three indecisive people in a room? YOU ALL GO HUNGRY.

We're standing in line at the IMAX and Gin said I should update to let everyone know. =D. Uh, so, here we are. THERE ARE PEOPLE IN COSTUME. Next Gen costume FAIL, people.
This is Gin, and all I have to say is that Tay sucks and is geekier than all these Trekkies combined. AND MORE. TWIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNZZZ.
Tay again. Yeah. Twins forever. I wonder how much longer they're gonna make us wait. ...right about now I bet people are wishing I'd move this shit to Twitter.

Tay and KnM, on the way home from picking up cat food for the beebes at Target and a little something at Starbucks:
*iTunes plays Jung und nicht mehr jugendfrei* tay: I bet, the way they roll their words in the back of their throat, that Bill is good at deep-throating. KnM: I don't think he needs to be fluent in German for that. tay: Oh you're right, I bet he has no gag reflex left anyway. KnM: ...You're being really generous to Tom. tay: Come on, it doesn't take that much to hit the back of the throat. KnM: Yeah, okay. tay: Besides, I don't think I'm giving them too much credit; Bill is six-two and Tom is five-eleven, they're not little guys. They're just skinny. KnM: Point. How do identical twins grow up to be different heights, anyhow? tay: I dunno, why does Bill have a mole on his chin and Tom a mole on his cheek? But they're still identical. I bet Tom just hit the coffee earlier in life. To make up for all those hours of nailing his brother at night. Bill slept shamelessly through French class. KnM: *snickers* tay: I should write this down. Hell, I'll blog it.
As of this week I got a little silver-colored washer for losing 25 pounds on Weight Watchers. Sweet. I put it on my 10%-loss keychain. Tomorrow I'm taking a half day and we are JUMPING on that 4:05 IMAX showing of Star Trek, baby.
Back to wringing my hands over the last two parts of After the Rising. I have got to finish. I've got to finish. I have twenty-four pages worth of outline - OUTLINE - for youkoverse Kaulitzcest and I am so ready to move on.

Ugh, fingers are definitely raw today. backinblack and I played Guitar Hero for about... four and a half hours total yesterday, and it was our first time. Despite my fingertips being sooooo sore, I wanna jump right up and do it again. (It's World Tour; and yes, we unlocked Monsoon. At around one-fifteen am.)
Time to go do meal planning or something.

| On my weekend thus far |
[02 May 2009|08:04pm] |
|
My weekend thus far has been ROCKIN'.
Holy shit I finally bought Guitar Hero this afternoon and my fingers are still killing me from working the fret bar for three hours. AUGH. Maybe backinblack and I should have taken a break much sooner, but it was so much fun. And now three fingers on my left hand are, like, numb. And the tips are raw. ...Ow.
I love the new month! We went to Outback Steakhouse last night, this morning we went to Starbucks for a few hours, we had sushi for lunch, and we picked up Guitar Hero on the way home YAY. ...Then I bought kuwamiko and I paid Dreamwidth accounts because we really do need them. And now I can cross-post to all of my journals and I have two hundred icons.
Which I need, because Gin made me a bunch of Tokio Hotel icons. ♥
Now I have the terribly difficult task of deciding if I'm going to play tag-team Silent Hill or try to work on After the Rising so that I can move on to other projects (namely, a boatload of Tokio Hotel fanfic).
In conclusion: TWIIIIIIIIIIINS.

Okay, so after my first major troll through the intarwebs I ended up with 14 pics of wee!twins, 98 pics of the twins together including a few dupes, two pics of the twins with some random chick (Bill looking entirely unthrilled; Tom at least attempting to smile), and 10 pics of the twins with their Tokio Hotel band-mates. I started out thinking I had more pics of Tom, but topped out at 27. I ended up with 40 pics of Bill and I wasn't even actively trying!
If people enjoy the picspam, I may go again - I'm not going to get anywhere near to posting the entirety of what I collected.
We're gonna start easy.

You can kinda tell they're identical here, in spite of their wildly differing styles.
( For those of you who want to see more, WE'RE GOING TO SEE THE TWINS. If you have dial-up, it will drop dead. )
Mmmm, twins. ( Now for some Bill, a seule )
Of course, I can't give Bill love without giving Tom love too. ( I've decided I LOVE THEM BOTH. In different ways. )
Hee. Okay, a few more for the road.
( A few of the band together. Wow, the twins look so tall. )
I think I'll save wee!twin pics for the next picspam. Or maybe I'll keep them all to myself.
I'm going to end this glorious post with wee!Bill Kaulitz singing "It's Raining Men." It's so adorable it made me uncomfortable. And his performance made me conclude that this boy has never, and will never, be straight. I LOL at rumors of girls saying they've slept with him.

So no picspam tonight, maybe picspam tomorrow. I'm gonna stare at the pic of Tom with his hand down Bill's pants and go read the third part of that awesome fic then maybe go outline... stuff. *shifty eyes*
What a week. Oh, and I've lost over twenty pounds now. So hey, that's something.

Remember the stupid mopey PMS-induced bitchfit I threw over lack of comments last October?
THIS EXPLAINS IT ALL.
It's true! Right down to the bulleted item regarding people pissed off about a comment they made in my journal that I didn't reply to - I had a flounce back in October to prove it.
So I'll stop dwelling over the fact that I have over 500 reciprocal friends and, like, less than 1% of that in comments to any given post. What it really boils down to is "NO ONE CARES." ...No one cares.
I bet if I posted ticky boxes at the end of posts, I'd get that kind of response.
Oh, and this is an open note to people who think I am boring, or are pissed at me, or don't read ANYTHING that I write anymore - you can unfriend me. Seriously, it's okay. And I'll unfriend you in return. We can give up that ghost at last. If you have a reason, any reason to be here, it's cool - but if not, dude, totally unfriend me.
Maybe I will post twin picspam after all. NOT FOR YOU GUYS. FOR ME.

As of March 28th, Rhidyll has been with me for two years! My enigmatic elf fellow.

( See a few more? Elf ears! Flowers! Oh my! )
I had him out this morning for pictures and was struck by how cool and aloof he is... but every time I take more pics, I think I learn more and more about him. He's been very slow to reveal himself to me, and he still is, but I get flashes of insight anyhow!

I'm actually a YEAR behind on posting my sakura (cherry blossom) photos - last year's may have been a touch prettier, but it was fecking cold out when I took those photos and I was in my winter trench coat. (About 10 - 15 pounds heavier, too.) So here's this year's attempt. They're not as good as I was hoping. Sometimes I think I actually got better pictures with the Canon Powershot. Anyhow, here they are!

( No, we're not in Narnia. Alas. See the rest? )
Edit: moved links to the Photobucket.

Geez, I feel like I spent half the day on my feet cooking OH WAIT I KIND OF DID.
Had an awesome weekend with kuwamiko and backinblack - yesterday we went up to the Portland metro area after having lunch at Red Lobster, saw Monsters vs Aliens on the IMAX in 3D, then had dinner at Sambi in Beaverton. I finally found it after it moved, like, four or five years ago! The hostess and waitress and sushi chef/owner all still remembered us. XD The hostess even remembered that kuwamiko always has the kake soba. I had saba shioyaki and some sushi and it was GREAT.
We picked up some great stuff at Uwaji's, too. On Thursday I'm going to attempt kake soba for the first time.
Today we woke up late, I played some Soul Caliber IV on the PS3 (if anyone has that and wants to play online, hit me up, okay?) then when we were all conscious we went grocery shopping after I finished watching Bones.
Oh, and I got a G1 last week. It is awesome, I love it. I no longer have to languish without the LJ or the e-mail at work. (My new workplace blocks LIKE EVERYTHING, even gmail.) I can email kuwamiko WHENEVER I DAMN WELL PLEASE, too, which is important.
So today I made my lunch for the week - orzo-chickpea salad with a balsamic dressing, and chopped salad with parsley and red onion - then made more salsa (will be having it for snacks and taco salad on Tues) and then got dinner started. We had lamb, smashed red potatoes, and petite baby dill carrots. YUMMMMM. I forgot to take pictures, of course.
Now my knees hurt and my feet are a bit sore as well, bah, I'm out of shape. Wish I could tack another day onto my weekend.
Still to do: download and install Semagic so that I can simultaneously post to LJ/IJ. Which reminds me. If you have a Dreamwidth invite, I would be much obliged.
Also: See here for a good summary of the #amazonfail. I've already e-mailed Amazon and signed the damned petition; will be anxiously awaiting updates besides "HAR HAR IT WAS A GLITCH" which is stupidly tissue-paper quality lies.

*does the LOST OVER TEN POUNDS dance*
I hardly feel like I'm on a diet. Dinner tonight is chicken mushroom feta sausage, mashed potatoes, and green beans. (Well, they're leftover, but they were homemade.) *enjoys the hell out of dinner*
Last night, I started watching Mei-chan no Shitsuji. DAMN YOUR EYES, MEGLY. This shit is RIGHT up my alley. Well, it's better than playing back episodes of Hell's Kitchen as I make dinner or level up. =__=
Nothing else of substance to update! Maybe I'll get some writing accomplished by this weekend. I'm so very behind on my self-imposed deadlines.
